Julep Love Bombshell and Teal Heart Mani Tutorial
I am such a huge fan of Julep. Most of the nail polish used in this manicure is from my monthly subscription. The teal color is Kam, and the red/rose gold is Love Bombshell. I am so excited to share that there will be a Julep Maven meet-up here in Dallas on February 11th at Max's Wine Dive.I am still uncertain as to whether or not I will be attending, but it is still so exciting to know Dallas will get such a fun event.
Anyway, for this manicure, you will need a teal and red/rose gold glitter nail polish. You will also need two metal hearts and nail glue. Oh, and don't forget the clear top coat. It wouldn't hurt to use a base coat, as well. I used an oxygen coat from Julep. Tweezers are also optional.
The first thing I did was apply the oxygen coat. Next, start from the thumb and apply two coats of the rose gold glitter polish. On the next two fingers apply two coats of the teal polish. The last two fingers will also get two coats of the rose gold glitter lacquer. In the photo above, I applied the metal heart on my pointer fingers, but to be honest, this is not a good idea. I find it more convenient to apply the metal hearts to your middle or ring finger. But, it's your prerogative. You will want to apply about two or three drops of nail glue before you apply the heart with your fingers or tweezers. Lastly, finish off with the clear top coat.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Don't forget to follow me on Instagram @dressdynamicdallas. Have a splendid day!
